LEAVING KITTY HOME ALONE Venice Memorial Gardens Pet Cemetery & Funeral Home

If your cat’s at all into chewing and gnawing, you may want to try having a few different cat chew toys like these around the house for him or her to play with. Check out some more cat toys that make electronic sounds like squeaks and chirps – the vast majority of them are home alone friendly, which is awesome. But that doesn’t stop these toys from being interesting enough prey when you’re away from the house. From balls to small mice to swat at, if a kitty’s looking for a victim to take out its energy on, you’d better believe it’d be handy to have some toys like these around for solo play. All four of my cats will play with these toys, though oddly, it’s my least playful, Avery, who takes the most interest in these. My husband and I both work from home and westill have issues keeping our house cat entertained. Because so little is known about homed cat welfare, there are no guidelines for cat owners outlining how long alone is too long for a cat, and what factors might mitigate against loneliness.

What Not to Do When Leaving Your Cat Alone
